National Black Golf Hall of Fame

Celebrating golf's Black history

MISSION

The National Black Golf Hall of Fame commemorates and honors exemplary achievements of Blacks in the golf industry. The organization recognizes business and community leaders, regardless of race or ethnicity, who ensure Blacks are presented opportunities to participate in any facet of golf.

The PGA has over 29,000 members and 1% are Black.

The National Black Golf Hall of Fame was founded by the late Harold Dunovant, PGA. Mr. Dunovant was the first Black to graduate from the PGA Business School. Jeff Dunovant, and his father, are the only Black father and son PGA members.
